Favorite Essential Oils

Diffusing essential oils is a daily thing for my home and office!

Currently, and almost daily we combine cinnamon & clove essential oils to diffuse in our kitchen. On Thanksgiving, our guests and family members all commented on how great the combo of the two were and how clean and refreshing it smelled. In fact, they would stop just to lean over and smell, (actually inhale) the scent.

Why Diffuse Essential Oils

Diffusing essential oils whether singularly or combining a few together have some great health benefits. They are used as aromatherapy treatments. Diffusing also promotes good sleep, cleanses the air, elevates your mood, repels insects, increases your energy, boost your immune system, and boosts your concentration.

Diffusers – Big or Small

Large diffusers last all day and into the night. They cover a larger area and are ideal for the family room, living room, loft area, or great room/kitchen area of your home. They would also be great in the breakroom or the conference room of an office.

The smaller diffusers work great as well. They can be used in bedrooms, bathrooms, office spaces, reception areas, you name it.

Having a nice calming sent when you enter a room is always a nice feeling. Diffusing essential oils in your bedroom while you sleep helps calm the mind and keep you sleeping sounder and breathing easier.

Favorite Essential Oils

Peppermint is my all time favorite essential oil. It smells wonderful, lifts the spirits, wakes you up, and keeps you motivated to keep going. We diffuse peppermint during our school day, when I am working, and even when we are cleaning. It’s great for headaches, tension, calms your stomach, it’s an anesthetic, antimicrobial, and reduces stress.

We have been diffusing Lavender and Lemongrass at night. Lavendar can help improve your sleep, help heal burns and wounds, reduce stress, and alleviate headaches. Lemongrass is said to relieve stress and reduce anxiety, relieve headaches & migraines, has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Peace of Mind

It is also wonderful to know that if you leave the house, fall asleep, or just plain forget about it altogether… The diffuser turns itself off automatically!! Talk about peace of mind for safety concerens~

As much as I love burning candles, I have to admit that I have forgotten a few times that they were burning. Luckily there were no minor or major problems in my forgetfulness, but alarming none the less.

I hope that sharing my favorite essential oils and information about diffusers will inspire you to try diffusing and using essential oils in your home or office.

Side Safety Note – please be sure you are purchasing quality essential oils and do your research before buying. Unfortunately, some companies sell poorly made products that may contain synthetic and/or other material that are not beneficial to you.
