DIY Homemade Laundry Soap
You’ve got to try this super simple DIY Homemade Laundry Soap. It is made with simple, easy to get ingredients that are safe for your and your family. It’s also cost effective and works great!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Castile Soap Bar
- 1 Cup Baking Soda
- 2 Cups Borax
- 2 Cups Super Washing Soda
- 15 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil
- 15 Drops Lavender Essential Oil
DIRECTIONS
- Use a box cheese grater to grate the soap bar into small pieces.
- Mix all ingredients together in a large glass bowl.
- Break up any large pieces by hand.
- Store in glass airtight container.
HOW TO USE:
- Use 1 – 2 Tablespoons of soap with each load of laundry.
- Place in the bottom of the washing machine before putting clothes in to wash.
- If using, a front load machine, do not put in top drawer, the powder and soap mixture will clump up and not be able to run through the wash. Place in the bottom of the washing machine before putting clothes in to wash.
