Delicious and Quick Maple Glazed Carrots

Maple Glazed Carrots offer a delightful combination of natural sweetness and savory flavors, making them a beloved side dish for any occasion. Total Time: 15-20 Minutes / Serves: 6

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds carrots, cut as desired (or use the baby carrots)
  • 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup butter of choice
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
  • Parsley (for garnish if desired)

Instructions:

  1. Add oil and butter in a skillet and heat to medium-high.
  2. Once butter has melted, add the carrots, brown sugar, maple syrup, and garlic. Stir to combine and let cook.
  3. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until tender. Be sure to stir several times while cooking to ensure even cooking throughout.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste. 
  5. Serve and Enjoy!

Notes: Salt and Pepper (to taste) – Some like more, some like less of these ingredients. Add what tastes good to you.
